Mr. Hubert Scott-Paine,.:: the British challenger, cabled the Yachtsmen's Association of America on Thursday that he had been "unable to get forward with his.new boat," and consequently it was impossible to challenge for the Harmsworth. Trophy. The Canadian challenge has also been withdrawn, and there will be no contest this year.
