BOROTRA'S "GREAT THEORY"

Basing his.predictions on what he jokingly calls his "groat theory of probabilities" Jea'ii Borotra, the French tennis player, said'on Thursday: "England has 50 chances out of 100 to retain the Davis Cup, the United States 25; Australia 15; France 5; and Japan 5." Borotra places the United States. over Australia because of its doubles strength. He revealed that he and Brugnon would play at the Davis' Cup doubles' this year. Merlin and Boussus would take care of.-the singles/■ Borotra. is here socking his fifth United States indoor title.
