United Press Association —By Electric Telserapb—Copyr'Eht. (Beeeived. March 2, 11 a.m.) MELBOUENE, This Day. Tho Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, announced that Mr. B. H. Nesbitt, of Sydney, had been appointed first Australian Trade Commissioner in' New Zealand, for a period of five years, at a salary of £1500 a year net, with an entertainment allowance of £300 a year- .'.... "Mr. Nesbitt is secretary of the Distributors' . Commercial Company Limited, of Sydney. He is held in high esteem by the Australian business community and is well-qualified to undertake the important work of Trade Commissioner in New Zoaland," said Mr. Lyons. Mr. -Nesbitt expects to be able to sever his existing. business connections by the middle of April. -He will then consult with the. Commerce Department before leaving for the Dominion.
