There are sis events on. the programme for- the opening day of the Victoria Racing Club's Autumn Meeting at Flemington tomorrow," the 'Newmarket, the Sires' Produce Stakes, and, the St. Lego,- Stakes beling the star items.' The; races in order- of running are:—' Pines Hurdles, £500, 2 miles? Siros' Pioduce Stakes, £2550, for two-ycav-olds, 7 furlongs; Esseildon. Stakes, £1000, w.f.a. with penalties and allowances, VA miles; Newmarket Handicap, £2500, 6 furlongs; St. Leger Stakes, £15D0, for threVyear-old colts and filjies, 1% miles; and Brunswick Stakes,', £600, 1& miles. The t second day v of the, meeting will be held next Wednesday, and the final day the following Saturday, when the Australian Cup will be decided.
