E. R. NEALE ON TOP

(Special to the "Evening Post.") KELSOX, March 1. Tho Nelson City Cricket Association's averages show that E. R. Nealo"(Old Boys) topped, both the1 batting and bowling figures for the season in senior championship matches. His batting average was 80—highest score, 155; total runs, 400. T. Ealfe (College) scored most runs in the season—443. His average was C 3.2. Six batsmen had averages of over 50. Neale's bowling figures were 13 wickets for 80 runs, an average of G.I. D. Freeman (College) was, next with 19 wickets for 231 runs. A. Moll wraith fWakatu) took most wickets—SO, for 516 ,runs. Neale has topped the batting averages 12, times since 1914, and has secured the best bowling average on four, occasions.
