THE WAR IN PALESTINE
A sub-committee!has been appointed by the executiye of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association -to consider an. offer -made by Mr. D. O. McClay to sell the film, "Armageddon," to tho association for £12. Mr. McClay suggested that tho association should secure the film for Now Zealand for all time. It was lying in bond in 1928, but had not been exhibited throughout the counhy. The film showed to a very largo extent what an important part the New Zealand soldiers played in seeming victoiy. Thcio was no question, ho said, that when tho New, Zealand troops 'cntored Jerusalem the! back of the war was biokeu, and when! Damascus was entered, Bulgaria, I Turkey, and then Austria capitulated.
