ANNUAL SWIMMING SPORTS

. The weather was perfect for the annual swimming sports of St. Patrick's College at the To Aro Baths yesterday. The full programme of events could not be completed owing to the popularity of the baths on such a beautiful afternoon. One record was broken, the intermediate 50yds free style. Noel Doohan won this event in 32see, lowering the record established by E. Vaney in 19S1 by 2-oth of a second. The senior championship, which carries with it the .Raymond Power Collins Cup, was won by E. Todd with the maximum number of points. F. Wooller and N. JTleniuiing tied tor second place. N. Doohan won both the championship events in the intermediate class. J. Hamilton filled second place on each occasion. The junior championship -went to M.
