LEWISHAM HOSPITAL
INTERESTED VISITORS
During the Archbishop Redwood jubilee celebrations this week an object of special interest among the visiting prelates,, priests, and laity has been the Lewishani Hospital. The speciall interest taken by his Grace in the establishment of the Order in Wellington assisted in directing the attention of the visitors towards the institution. Many compliments were showered on the Little Sisters of Mary ou the efficiency shown in all departments of the hospital, and also on the beautiful buildings and grounds. It was only fitting therefore that the jubilee celebrations should include the delightful little function that took place at the hospital on Wednesday when the Rev. Mother and the Community entertained his Graco jubilarian, and a number of the visiting clergy. Among those present were Archbishop Mannix (Melbourne), Archbishop O'Shoa, Bishop Whyte (Dunedin), Bishop Brodio (Christchurch), Bishop Liston (Auckland), Bishop Gleeson (Maitland), Bishop Fox (Wilcaniiia-Forbcs, Bishop Xichalas (Fiji), Father Booh, S.M. (Solomon . Islands), Father Clime, C.P. (Australia), Father Murphy, S.J. (Melbourne), Father Loughnan (Australia), and Father Goodman, M.S.C. (Sydney). At the conclusion of the function Archbishop Redwood thanked the liev. Mother and the- Community for their hospitality. Archbishop Mannix responded appropriately on behalf of the Rev. Mother and sisters. . During their stay in Wellington, Archbishop Mannix, Father Murphy, S.J., Father Loughnan, M.S.C, Father Chine, Father F. Green (Sydney), and Father Goodman have been the guests of J the hospital. . I
