SUCCESSFUr VENTURE
The Triangle Players, whoso production of "Number Seventeen." last year was such an outstanding success, have felt it . desirable to widen the scipe of Weir society. AS;- a wellattended meeting of 'members and others interested- ni"n- "drama-iA, held/, flt^-the Masonic Temple on Wednesday evenling, great enthusiasm", was, shown, .and many new members were enrolled. ' It was decided to adopt"tho name of "The Thespians." . The constitution "was put before, the meeting and adopted, '.and it was decided that the necessary steps should be taken ta.become incorporated. It was announced. that fortniglitly readings for members and friends would -. .bo held1 on alternate AVedn'csclays at ■ the Masonic Temple, The ' Terrace, : commencing on Wednesday next, when I "Dangerous Corner," by J. B. , Priestley, would bo read. , It was announced that the first pro- • duction by the Thespians' would be "The 1 High Koad," Frederick Lonsdalo's ' brilliant comedy, with the' following cast:—Ola Kielsen, Elsie Lloyd, Vivienne Tait, Joan Collins, O. N. Gillespie, T. V. Anson, Vryn Evans, H. A. Painter, Ealph Hogg, E. R. Render, Martin Liddlc, aud Norman Hannah. The play is being directed by Victor S. Lloyd and will be staged in the Town Hall,. Concert Chamber, in April.
