NEW KENNEL CLUB
A well-attended meeting of those interested in the formation of a kennel club for the Hutt- Valley, Akatarawa, and bays, was held on Wednesday evening at the offices of the Hutt River Board, kindly lent for the purpose. The chair was taken by Captain W. Olphert, and it' was unanimously resolved that the tipie was opportuno for the formation of the club to bo called "The Hutt Valley Kennel Club (All Breeds)." Great enthusiasm was manifested by thoso present," and a. strong executive was formed, consisting of the following:—Patron, Mr. Eric Kiddiford; president, Dr. (J. F. Anson; executive, vicepresidents, Captain W. Olphert and Mr. G. Waekrow; management committee, Mrs. 18. Hall, Miss V. Kettle, Messrs. X Hall, F. Howard, W. ,T. Little, G. C. Mayo, B. Teal, P. W. Willson; show mannger, Mr. A. S. Brown; honorary trcasnvcr, Mr. S. H. "Willis; honorary secretary, llr. A. Darke Woodward. The first general meeting- will be held shortly. _...... .... _ _
