(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CARTERTON, This Day. Mr. B. Eoberts, who is to represent local dairy farmers at tho conference to be called by the Prime Minister, adi dressed a meeting of dairy farmers at Parkvalo last night. Farmers were present from Dalefield, Taratahi, and Kokotau: The speaker introduced his remarks under the title "Crisis in Dairy Industry.-" He maintained that the only solution to save the industry from insolvency was a scheme for jn Government guaranteed internal price, level, of, say, 15d per lb for Tjutterfat. Had this been done in the first place the Dominion would never have had its present difficulties, nor its unemployed problem. At the close of the address a resolution was passed '' that this meeting of dairy farmers at Parkvale believes that only a national scheme of guaranteed prices is adequate to deal with the national disaster -which is facing the dairy industry, and supports its reprcspntativo at the national dairy conference along this line."
