The council of the Leeds, Chamber of Commerce demands drastic action to meet Japanese competition, especially in woollen goods, exports of which to the Dominions and Crown Colonies have increased nearly 100 per cent. Two British representatives are' raising the matter at the International Wool Conference at Borne in March.
