LONDON'S BUDGET
MILLION FOR HOUSING
REDUCTION IN RATES
(British Official Wirelsss.) RUGBY, February 27. Estimates for the coming year were presented at a London County Council meeting today. London's Budget anticipates an expenditure during the coming financial year of over £.29,500,000, a reduction of '£.500,000 on last, year's figures. About £1,000,000 is allotted to housing, mainly slum clearance and improvements. There is a reduction of 2d in the Tates to 6Jd in the pound.
