A CHARMING FAREWELL
PARTY AT STUDIO
Mrs. IMeda Shaw gave a-delightful party at lier: studio in Kelburn Chambers' yesterday in order to bid farewell to pupils and friends before she leaves for her visit to England and abroad! Beautiful, dahlias and zinnias decorated the studio, and great jars of hydrangeas welcomed the guests outside on the landing before their- entrance to the artistic studio. ■■' After viewing and enjoying the new premises, an adjournment was made downstairs, where i delicious afternoon tea was served. On ,the return to the studio (which had been arranged as a drawing-room) Mrs. Shaw made a charming and amusing farewell speech, and was presented by Miss Todd with a sheaf of deep red gladioli, and Mrs. G. A. Hart, from the studio group, handed Mrs. . Shaw a handsome brown crocodile dressing case, with all their good wishes for a delightful tour and safe return to her friends and.her work.
