Sir,—lt is , about, time; the promoters considered the subscribers who purchase tickets for art unions. Sporting clubs and other associations have been exceedingly well catered for. in the past. More tickets will be purchased' if the public know they are assisting some charitable object. Now, /the geese v that , lay the golden eggs should receive 60me consideration.- Another. £2000 ridded to the prize list, below the .first prize-of, £2000, -would not.be amiss; £4000. allotted at present, out -ofVabout £30,p00 subscribed, is not a fair deal to the subscribers.—l am, etc., ; . , M.
