Avrapuni stables will provide a good proportion of the horses for the Rangitikei Club's' Meeting •at Bulls tomorrow, though it is doubtful* whether a proportionate1 amount o£ the stake money -will come this way. The majority of the horses, however,' are well forward and a number of them may be expected to runwell. , There has not been much fast work at the training■ tracks since the:Woodville- Meeting, though Esteem, Pango, and Treasure Hunt were sent-along over a mile last Saturday, Esteem holding a slight advantage over the others at the finish. The trio figure-in .the Eangitikei acceptances, Esteem in the hurdles, and Pango and Treasure Hunt in the Eangitoto Hack Handicap* Hauwai is another for the hurdles, and he should be in. good niels for his engagement. ,:' Senegal has been accepted 'for the Gup,.aud as k he has. gone on the Tight way since ho ran so well at Wanganui he must bo given a chancel Thrasher raced at Woodyillo and has since been restricted to pace work. Interlocutor, who has. been paid up for in the five-furlong sprint, was galloped- five , furlongs on Saturday morning and moved-attractively. . Easterly was put over the fences on Saturday and again yesterday, and she should be all the better for her raco at Wobdville.
