NEW SWIMMING RECORDS

(Special to the "Evening Post.")

. MASTEKTON, This Day. Four senior sprint swimming records were broken yesterday at the Wairarapa High School sports by E. S. Lawrence,- who put up an outstanding performance. His times,.with the old records in parentheses, are as follows:—22o yards, 3min 3 1-osec (3min 9 2-ssec); 100 yards, 67 -4-osec (72sec); 66 2-3 yards, 43sec (46sec); 33 1-3 yards, 18 ,4-osee (19 3-ssec). Lawrence is of fine physique, and possesses a powerful leg and arm action. "He should develop into a firstclass sprint-swimmer. A. W. Monro also broke the junior 50 yards record by 4 1-asec, covering the distance in 31 2-osec. ■ The cup for the senior championship was won' by B. S. Lawrence, and the cup for the junior championship by A. W. Monro. 1
