SOCIAL EVENING

The annual social evening of the St. John Ambulance (Petone division) -was held in the Lancashire and Yorkshire Hall, Petone, last evening, when 100 guests were present. During the evening an exhibition of ballroom dancing was given by "Miss Dora and Master Gordon Binns, pupils of 'Miss Sybil Hunter. The music, which was Of an excellent kind, was given by Monte Howard's orchestra. The success of the evening was due to the able inaiiner in which Mr. Charles Biuns' conducted the programme, and to the efforts of the ladies who looked after lh.B sypjjer^ .. _j
