INGENIOUS SINGLE-WHEEL TRAILER.— One of the disadvantages of the two-wheel trailer used by many motor tourists is that it sometimes affects the steadiness of the car and the responsiveness of the steering, and the vehicle cannot be driven in reverse when the trailer is attached. The trailer depicted here has been designed by a resident of Los Angeles. It weighs 2001b, is said to be capable-of carrying a load of 10001b, and has only one wheel, which is linked, by a simple arrangement to the steering mechanism of the car. The trailer can be attached to the rear bumper bars and connected, to the steering without the use of any tools or other complications'.^
