DRAWING COMPETITION
To encourage artistic expressjtt'n among the- pupils of the Petone primary schools, Mr. -A. Medhurst, of ,Petone, recently" donated three pictures of his own painting as prizes for a drawing competition, the subject being att outdoor scene of the pupils' own selection* The judging has now been completed, and the winners,, who are all pupils ot Form % Petone Central School, are:— Pattie,Harvey, 1; Arthur Hart, 2; PhilHarrison, 3. ■ ,
