PILOT LANDS AEROPLANE IN HYDE PARK

When a Royal Air Force singleseater aeroplane was being flown across London today from Northholfc to Kawkinge, Kent, engine trouble developed and tho pilot descended through low clouds to find himself over the .heart of the West End. • • In searching for a place to land he skimmed over the roof of Buckingham Palace whilo the changing of. the Guiird ceremony was proceeding and whilo the King was watching from a window. Avoiding trees, rails, and other obstacles, the pilot brought the machine safely to the ground in Hyde Park,
