DOMINION-BRED WINNERS
New Zealand-bred two-year-olds won two races in Australia last Saturday, Quarto being successful at Moonee Valley and Sir John at Warwick Farm. Quarto is a brown filly by Paper Money from the imported Square Measure mare Quadrilateral, and it was her second win. She was purchased at the Trentham sales in January for £110 by Mr. J. S. Brunton, of Sydney. She was taken down to Victoria by G. Price, who won with her at Flemington last month, and she Was left behind when. Price; returned north. -.Sir John, who,won the Kirkham. Stakes, of £600, is : the', Limbrid— Jewel of Asia colt- whom/ Veilmdnd?s owner, Mr. E. Moss, of Sydney, bought for 725gs at the Trentham sales. in January.
