London papers to hand show Jhat Lord Glanely's two-year-old- colt Colombo wound up with a victory, in the .Imperial Prodncn Stakes, six furlongs, in which he carried 9.3 and defeated six opponents, running the distance ml lmin 12 3-osec. The value of the race ,to the winner was £4543, which raised Colombo's earnings, to £17,130. With seven successive victories Colombo retains an unbeaten record at two years old, and, .as he was bought '■ at auction for 510 guineas, he stands out as a great bargain. Colombo is engaged in the. Two Thousand Guineas, Derby, and St. Leger, and very keen interest will be centred in his form in those races.
