BROKEN BYLAWS
Offenders against the bylaws were dealt with by -Mr. W. F. Stilweil, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Josephine : Clampitt was convicted and discharged for avoiding payment of a train fare. . . :
A fine of £1 was imposed upon James Feely for permitting cattle to loiter in the street. .
For failing to give way to a trara-c*r at an intersection, Maude Warwick was fined 10s. • • •
George Orme was fined 5s for keeping an unregistered dog.. On a charge of failing to pay hanging fees George Peter Adler was fined £2, and on another similar charge he_ was convicted and discharged. For a similar offence, Charles Petersen was fined £1 and Arthur Matthew Brown was convicted and ordered to pay costs. For failing to make abattoir returns, Brown was convicted and ordered to pay costs and Petersen was convicted and discharged, j
