HAWKING A POLISH
Before Mr. E. Page, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today, Clyde George Fizelle was fined £ 2 for hawking without a licence." Detective-Sergeant Revell said that the defendant had been making and selling polish, but it was found that the polish completely destroyed aluminium, and a test by the Government Analyst revealed that it contained mercury and nitric acid poisons. The defendant had no licence to hawk the polish.
