THE USE OF LIBERTY
In welcoming members of tho City of London Vacation Course in Education the Lord Mayor of London said that tho City of London had always stood for liberty. Addressing the British teachers particularly he said:—. "Wliilo the Russian schools appear to be educating little Communists, and the Italian schools to be .educating little Fascists, and the German schools will, I suppose, shortly bo compelled to address their energy to the education of little Hitlerites, your function is to educato citizens of a freo commonwealth, to teach- them what liberty is and how it can be used. If we arc to be worth all the liberties we possess we must educato men and women who will understand how to use them proPerl7\' .
