SIAMESE REVOLT OVER
BROKEN BY LOYAL TROOPS
LEADER SAID TO HAVE FLOWN
SINGAPOEE, October 19,
The Siamese revolt has been broken by Government troops, who recaptured the rebel headquarters at Donmuang aerodrome, where there are many dead and wounded. They also occupied Ayudhya and Petchabnri. Gunboats supported the troops, thus giving the lie to the report that the navy had gone over to the rebels. The insurgent leader, Prince Bovaradej, wTio was former Minister in London, is reported to have fled in an aeroplane. "
