THEFT IN AUCKLAND OFFICE

(Keeeivecl October 20, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, October 19.

in January last the police here received a provisional warrant for the arrest of two New Zealanders, one a man employed in an Auckland Government office. After the theft of £700 was discovered by the New Zealand Government officials it was suspected that tho missing employee was in Australia. After nine months the police yesterday arrested a man in a Darlinghurst flat and'a second man was arrested on Circular Quay.
