NEW GABRIEL'S GULLY
New Gabriel's Gully Gold Mining Co., I Ltd., has been registered, according to tlie "Mercantile Gazette," with a capital of ;£ 24,000. in 96,000 shares of 5s each. Objects: To carry on all kinds of business in relation to mining. The office is in Dunedin. TALISMAN DUBBO. Talisman Dubbo, Karangahake, reports that work during the week ended September 23 consisted in stoping over back of No. 1 Talisman level. The reef is 3ft wide and quartz of good value. Construction of reef well under way and should be complete and ready for running before end of this week. MOTUROA OIL FIELDS. The following report for four weeks ended September- 30 has been received today from Moturoa Oil Fields, Ltd., New Plymouth:—No. 4 Well: Rigging up completed and drilling operations- commencedl on September 25;. depth 30ft, in loose sand and heavy boulders, 12in casing. No. 2 Well: Produced 340 barrels (11,900 Imperial gallons) of oil. Total production to date. 435,124 Imperial gallons.
