CONVERSION OF CAR
. A sentence, of three months' imprisonment was' imposed on lan Archibald Donald McDonald by Mr. E. Page, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon on a... charge of converting a motorcar to his own use.
Lindsay Edist Edward Garner, aged 23, who was jointly charged with the offence, was acquitted', but was remanded on a -charge of stealing petrol, and was granted bail in the gum of £150, with a surety of £150. ■
