EXPORTS OF MEAT.
The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board reports that the following shipments of frozen meat were sent from New Zealand from October 1, 1932, to July 15, 1933, with the shipments for the corresponding season last year also' given:— _ ■ 1333 1932 Beef quarters 263,559 137,649 Mutton carcasses .... 1,554,675 2,270,229 Lamb carcasses ..... '7,615,698 7,428,378 Pork carcasses 188,900 107,720 Boneless beef (bags) 180,035 164,277 Inclined in the totals for 1933 were 600 quarters of beef for New York and 200 for San Francisco; 803 carcasses of lamb for Hong Kong and'll for the West Indies.
