EXPORT OF EGGS TO CANADA,
Shipments of eggs up to 15,000 dozen will be sent from Canterbury to Eastern Canada in November. . ' The Canterbury Egg Export Committee has decided that the first consignment of eggs to Gre\it Britain should leave Lyttelton about the end of August, and that further shipments should follow at intervals until November. The Canadian shipment was also decided upon, and it is anticipated that the committee will send additional eggs to Canada during December and January. As far as the general export of eggs from Canterbury this season is concerned, it is expected that the quantity will be greatly in excess of that of last year.
Regulation of tea exports under Government control is' now in operation in India, Ceylon, and the Netherlands East Indies with retrospective effect from April 1, 1933, in each case in conformity with the international scheme already published.
