A £500 DONATION
At the annual convention of the Wellington area of the New Zealand Alliance held today, the Rev. J. R. Blanchard, Dominion president, announced that an anonymous donor had provided £500 to be placed in a trust fund for educational and campaign work. This, he said, encouraged the alliance to press on with its declared policy of widespread educational effort against the use of alcohol as a beverage and to resist every, effort made to increase the consumption of alcoholic liquor,
