NEW CLERK ASSISTANT
The appointment of Mr. Grafton ]?. Bothamley to the position of First Clerk Assistant of the House of Representatives is announced today. Mr. Bothamley, who has been promoted from the position of Second Clerk Assistant and Reader of Bills, will be succeded by Mr. H. N. Dollimore, formerly record clerk.
Mr. Bothamley is tne eldest son of Mr. A.' T. Bothamley, the veteran Gentleman Usher of the Black Kod. Ho has had about twenty-six years' experience in the Legislative Department, commencing as a Committee Clerk. On the retirement of .Major H. H. Browno from the position of Sergeant-at-Arms until the appointment of LieutenantColonel S. G. Sandle, Mr.. Bothamley acted as Sergeant-at-Arms. A brother of Mr. Bothamley, Mr. C. M. Bothamley, is Clerk Assistant of Parliaments. Mr. Grafton Bothamley served with tho Grand Fleet as a lieutenant-com-mander in the Royal Naval Voluntcor Reserve during tho Great War. .
