It is understood that Kufo Naylor, Austin Robertson's manager,* has sent challenges to- Eddie Tolan, J. Metealfe, "Frank Wyckoff, and several other sprinters, .who it is thought might turn professional in .the, spring, to hold exhibitiou races with a thousand dollars as a side. bet.
From Detroit, Tolan has definitely declined, and indicated that he intends to hold his civil service position and had no intention of running again soon, cither as an amateur or a professional.
Robertson has' been acclimatising himself since his arrivnif and has undertaken no serious training for at least ten days.
