HATTERSLEY WINS IN N.S.W.
SYDNEY, June 24.
S. Hattersley won the amateur golf championship1 of New South Wales, defeating the yojithful Alan Waterson 3 up and one to play in the final at Kensington links today. ' Hattersley established a good lead of 5 up in the morning round. Although "Waterson came .with a, Jate run at the finish, he was unable to overtake the deficit. Hattersley wa,s.. always very steady and accurate, playing .perfect iron, shots. Waterson, probably/through nervousness, was. inclined to, slice, but his play generally was not up.to'liis vsuab standard. ■..-..:
