TIMARU, June 3. The South Canterbury golf championship was won by B. A". Wright, J3almacewan. with a score of 75, 72 —147. G. A. Usshcr, Timaru. was rimner-up with 79, 71—150. E. A. Scott. Timaru, holder of the title, scored 74, 79—153. Wright began badly in the morning, but came home in 3-1, giving a great exhibition, registering live birdies. In the afternoon he went out in bogey figures and came in one under. Ussher played a fine round in the afternoon.
