UNDEFENDED DIVORCE

On the ground of his wife's non-compli-ance with a decree for restitution of conjugal rights, Richard William Palmerston Latimer, in the Supreme Court today, was a decree nisi from Alice Emily Latimer, by Mr. Justice MacGr.egor. The suit was undefended. His Honour made an order for the decree to be moved absolute after three months, and gave interim custody of the male child of the marriage to the petitioner. Mr. C. Evans-Scott appeared for. the petitioner.

Soap is not neerled on washing day on Capo Clear Island-, County Cork. The laundry work is done in the water of an alkaline lake on the island.
