13TH BATTERY

ANNUAL REUNION

The annual reunion of the Thirteenth Battery, N.Z.F.A., New Zealand Expeditionary Force, was held on Saturday evening, Major T. Farr, M.C., D.5.0., officer commanding the battery, presiding. There were about forty-five ex-service men from all over the Dominion present. During the evening, a cinematograph film of tho battlefields on which members of the battery fought in France was shown. Those present were keenly interested in the film, which was taken by Mr. W. Evnns, of Timaru, an ex-member of the battery, while on a tour of France two_ years aj;o. An interesting feature associ-" atcd with the screening of the film was a detailed history of the battery from the time it was formed in l£gypt until the signing of the Armistice, given by Major Farr. On Sunday, those who attended the reunion went for a motor drive to Ohariu Valley.
