CHRISTCHURCH PROTEST
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHBISTCHURCH, This Day.
A3 the police authorities object to permission being granted for relief workers to hold an open-air meeting protesting against married men. being compulsorily sent to camps, the Bylaws Committee of the City Council at a meeting today unanimously decided to call a conference of representc;tives of various city-organisations, including churches interested -in social work, when the question of married men's camps will bo discussed further. The question of holding a public meeting or making some other form of protest will also be considered.
