i ('SyvFelagraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. At Otahuhu today Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., dislnissed a charge of negligent driving brought against a motorist who had knocked down a cyclist. The defendant said he was temporarily blinded by flying ants. The Magistrate said he had encountered ants himself when driving along the same road. They suddenly streamed across the road. He was satisfied that the defendant had done all he could to avoid a collision.
