RESULT OF POLICE RAID

As the outcome of a police raid in Taranaki on March 18', the date of the Wellington and Ohinem viiri races, Bobert Maseall was charged in the Supreme Court today before Mr. Justice Eecd1 with bookmaking in .Mew Plymouth. The case is the fourth, of a series of iive. Evidence was given .-for the Crown that a constable made I lets with Mascall on hotel premises ami that Mascal!, when arrested, made a , significant remark concerning punters:'' money in his possession.
