He was a captain in the Austrian forces during the war and became a professional wrestler after he had had a sporting bout with Henri De Glano in Paris. Since entering the professional wrestling ranks Varga has met such men as Gus Sonnenberg, Nick Lutz, Ad Santel, :; Ed. Don George, Charlie' Strack, and many others. Perry's real name is Al Pereria, and he was born in Portugal 23 years ago. He is about lost in weight and 6ft 2in tall. He is said to bo strong and fast, and in the last year has only been defeated three limes.
