LADIES' FIELD DAY
NEWS AND NOTES
Arrangements aro well in hand for the ladies' and men's tourneys to be held at Karori Park on June 3. As usual, tho ladies intend to make a field day of their seven-a-side tournament, and play is to start at 9.30 a.m. The support given to this fixture by the ladies is generally most commendable, and it is hoped that this year the entries will again bo sufficient to produce au attractive tournament . Entries for the men's five-a-side games have not yet closed, but the indications are that many players are keen to take part. Play will commence at 11.30 a.m. The management committee of the W.H.A. has decided to award badgea to tho members of the winning teams in the three grades—senior A and B, junior and third, and fourth and intermediate. Each grade will be divided into subsections, and each team will play at least three games.
