With a. heavy yarding, fat ewes were'slightly easier, and the market 'for bleeding ewes appears satisfied, and ithe large offering did not sell readily. The :cattle yarding was light, with a slight improvement -in prices. Store cattle rrioved steadily at late rates. There was good inquiry for. dairy cattle, winter calvers being in good demand; Fat Lambs.—Priraest heavy, .IBs; prime, 15s to 15s lid;'good, 13s'8d to 14s 9d; medium lines, 12s to 12s Sd; backward, from 11s.- Maiden ewes, prime 13s, good 10s 3d; prime ewes, 9s lOd; good, 8s 2d to 8s 6d; medium, 7s 4d to 8s; light, from 6s.
