John Kaldander, aged two years, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Wednesday evening after drinking tho contents of a medicine bottle at his parents' home, died this morning., , ' The medicine, which was prescribed for neuritis, had been made up by a chemist for the child's mother. Written instructions on the bottle stated that it was to be taken diluted iv water. The child had been playing in the house in the afternoon, and went into the room in which the medicine was kept. ' ; ' " ■" • Mrs. Ralvlandcr entered tho, room about '4 o'clock and found 'the boy lying on the floor in a coma with the' empty medicine bottle near by. The child could not bo roused, and was taken, to hospital. . ■
