Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Waldock, Ceylon, ,who are at present visiting Kew Zea■land, will leave Wellington on Wednesday next to spend a fortnight in Dunedin. On their return they will motor to Napier. Miss Dolly Vaile, Auckland, is the guest of' Mrs. W.-E. Herbert, The Terrace, and will return home next week. Lieutenant and Mrs. C4eo£frey Moat, who have been visiting Mrs. Moat's parents, Mr. and' Mrs. Pen wick,1 Dunedip, arrived in Wellington yesterday on the first stage of the return journey to their liome in Poona, India. Miss Alice Paseoe, Christchurch, will leave next month for India to visit Mrs. Moat. Mrs. Frank Leckie, Heretaunga., who is visiting the South Island, is at present the guest of Mrs. Murray Gardiner, Christohurch. Mias Phyllis Gray, Kelburn, who has been visiting Christehurch, returned to Wellington this inorning. Mrs. E. J. Vosper, Upper Takaka, Nelson, is visiting Wellington. Miss1 Buchanan, principal of the Hataitai Kindergarten, who has been staying with Mr. and Mrs. D. P. Buchanan, Cunningham's, Feilding,' will return to Wellington on Monday afternoon. Mrs. L. W. Martin, liataitai, who has been visiting Mrs. S. Mnrtin, Christchurch, returned to Wellington yesterday. Mrs. E. Coltman and Miss Violet Lamaeroft, Wellington, are visiting Auckland. ■ Mr, J. McCombs, M.P., an.d Mrs. McCombs, Christchurch, arrived in Wellington yesterday, and will return to Chris.tchureh during the weekend. Mrs. F. C. Stephenson, who has been spending five weeks' holiday in the north, has returned to her home, "Kinross," Island Bay. Miss E. Nairn, Wellington^ is visiting Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. IL, Bourke,, Papanui, Christchurch, arrived in Wellington this morning, and will leavo by the lonic for England, on June 1. Miss B. Boyes, Christchurch, is a visitor to Wellington. ' ~ Miss Zoe Lowry, Petone, who secured her B.Sc. degree at Christchurch, was congratulated last evening by the Board of Governors of the Hutt Valley High School on being the first university graduate from the school. Mrs. J. Heathcote Duncan, of Eelburn, who has been spending several weeks in Auckland, returned to Wellington this morning. Mrs. Duthie, Heretaunga, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. W. N. Abbott, Epsom, Auckland. . .Among the guests at the Royal Oak Hotel are Miss V. Scott and Miss E. McKelvie (Masterton). ■ Guests at the Midland Hotel include Mrs. and Miss Herbert (England), Mrs. Phillips, and Miss Harris (Christchurch). Mrs. W. A. Parton, accompanied by Miss Alison McGeorge (Dunediu), left for Auckland this morning, and will be away about a week.
