Today being the sixty-sixth anniversary of the birthday of Queen Mary, flags were flown oil all the city's principal buildings. At noon the customary .Royal Salute of twenty-one guiis boomed .out from Point Jerningkam, the firing unit being drawn from the Permanent Artillery >and under the command of Captain R. S. Park. The anniversary is not observed as a holiday. ' , ::
