INTER-HOUSE GAMES
Teams of girls from city .firms. Girl Citizens, and the Y.W.C.A. Basketball teams contested an interesting programme of indoor sports at the Blue -Triangle Hall last night where an inter-house games night had been arranged by the Y.W.C.A. to mark the beginning of its Girls' Week Appeal. Miss O. Long, physical culture directress, controlled the events,, which aroused much enthusiasm. There were many close finishes, both in the heats and the finals. The supper was served from the cafeteria and the purpose of Street Day of the Girls' Appeal generally explained by Miss J. Stevenson and Miss L. Bridgman. officers of the association. A number of girls agreed to become liou.se captains in the business firms where they work and to arrange for the selling of badges there. The games resulted in a tie betweeu the Priscilla A team and the Girl Citizens, each team receiving engaging mascots as the reward of their ability. '
