A GIANT SPIDER
A huge spider has arrived in Geneva in the^midst of some bananas. It is still alive, and is on show at the iSiatural History Museum in that city. It measures six inches from tip to tip of its legs, and this particular specimen camo from the West Indies. It ia much to be hoped that it will not become naturalised in Europe; it would be a most unpleasant object to meet.
